Bounce Play Centre in Wairakei (just outside TaupΕ) runs on a private-hire-only model. You book the whole venue for 3 hours and your group has the place to yourselves, with no shared sessions or strangers. The play floor is split into a toddler soft play area with small bouncy castle, animal bouncers and climbing gear, and an advanced play area with a roller coaster, trampoline, large bouncy castle, PAW Patrol ball games and a climbing/hiding/swinging zone. A separate food, cake and photo area has kids' tables, a kitchen with fridge, microwave and kettle, and comfortable parent seating. Best suited to birthday parties and private family or group celebrations for kids from toddler age through about 10.
