1 / 2Cockle Bay Playground
đ Cockle Bay, Auckland
Cockle Bay Playground sits right alongside the beach with age-appropriate equipment including a mum-and-bub swing and mini zip line. Safety matting covers the play area.
Such a cute playground. Our little one is 10mo and there are a few things for him to do. Theres a mom and bub swing, mini tunnel, mini slide. And its mostly shaded!! There are also big things too but id say its mostly aimed at younger children. There are grassy patches with benches. Sea view, shade under trees. Ducks roaming around. Its also wheelchair accessible and has a rotating platform that is wheelchair accessible!
đ Family Action Verdict
Reviewers love the combination of beach and playground in one spot. Parents of babies highlight the mum-and-bub swing as a standout feature. The relaxed beach atmosphere and regular duck sightings add to the appeal for young children.
