Event Cinemas Tauranga Crossing

“My wife and I have visited Event Cinemas Tauranga Crossing a number of times and have experienced both the standard screens and, more recently, the V-Max screen. The V-Max experience was excellent and really suited the movie we watched. We didn’t treat ourselves to the double daybeds or full recliner seats this time-otherwise I probably would have fallen asleep! Our standard seats were comfortable and perfectly adequate for the movie. One thing that did surprise us, however, was that at no stage did anyone check our tickets. We could quite literally have walked into the cinema without having purchased a ticket and apparently nobody would have noticed. While we enjoyed the movie and the overall experience, this does raise some concerns about how ticketing is being managed. Overall, we had a good experience at Event Cinemas Tauranga Crossing, and the V-Max screen is definitely worth trying. Hopefully, the ticket-checking process can be improved as well.”

“First time to arrive movie in decades. They have electric reclining chairs now. Perfect air conditioning. Awesome sound system. Nice big screen. No intermission which is perfect, that was always a waste of time. Im used to useing the app now. Keeping my eye on half price Tuesdays at the moment.”

“Ludo friend!! thank you for screening Labyrinth - was really neat to see my childhood favourite movie on the big screen! I hope you guys do this more often, movies these days are rarely any good, so screening old school movies is a great idea!!”
