Great experience, a treat to ourselves for 50th wedding anniversary. Very impressed with the dress and friendly manner of the stewards, all apparently volunteers . The carriages we're spotless and comfortable, refreshments and a bar available. Very informative dialogue from someone with a sense of humour to enlighten us as we travelled on the Round the Block trip. Thanks to Athol and others for a very enjoyable experience. βThe local volunteers work very hard restoring these steam trains.They often do fundraisers to Woodville and during the holidays for the children.Tonight was the candlelight express in which the train engine and carriages were adorned in lights. If you are lucky enough in the summer you can watch the engine driver up front.Kids young and old love these trips .β

βThe actual train trip was fine though unfortunately we had to face strangers going from PNth to Woodville as their seat was unable to be turned around. At Woodville Station I think they underestimated the amount of people on the train as not enough catering options.β
