“We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Ferrymead heritage park and the team were so wonderful to deal with. Making sure we were all sorted leading up to the day, checking in day before and after and being so open to what we were allowed to do. This heritage park is truly a magical backdrop for your wedding and photos with such a variety of places to get them done. We absolutely loved the chapel for our wedding; it didn’t need much it was such a sweet venue and the outdoor area was perfect for a wee cocktail hour. The hall had such a wide-open space that is like a blank canvas with the kitchen being incredibly handy. So grateful for such a beautiful place in our city.”

“If you have never been Take the day to visit. Plenty to see. Trains etc to ride on. And if you can go to the night markets when they hold them it is a must. Have your tea there. We really enjoyed sitting, eating and listening to the band playing. A great night's entertainment. Shopping was bad either. Heaps to look at. Enjoy your time there”

“Great day out ! Would highly recommend a trip to the heritage park - it’s a wonderful museum full of friendly and welcoming volunteers who are a great source of knowledge ! Not too busy and extremely reasonable prices. We will be back !”
