Overview
Gordon Carmichael Reserve sits in Bethlehem on the outskirts of Tauranga and centres on a wetland ecosystem where a range of water birds — including swans and ducks — can be seen year-round. Paved and grassed walking paths loop through the reserve, all pram-accessible, and a dedicated BBQ area makes longer visits easy. Free parking is available at the main car park, which also has toilets on site. The environment is open and quiet, with mature vegetation providing natural shade along the tracks.
