Hampton Downs Go Karts sits beside the Hampton Downs Motorsport Park south of Auckland. The circuit runs outdoor karts including tandem two-person karts, making it accessible for riders who want to share the experience.
Brought my partner here for his birthday. Luckily his falls on a Friday so we were able to grab cheaper tickets for $39 each! It was such a lovely day to go for a ride. It was my first time to go karting and I appreciate how they take us to a room with a kart and a video demonstration just to make sure we are comfortable and knowledgeable on how it is going to go. Everything was easy as and I highly appreciate how they provide hair nets! The staff were friendly and the guy who prepares us for the ride was very attentive. I’m a short queen and he was quick to offer a cushion and makes sure we are all set to go. Me and my partner were lucky because we were the only ones to ride in our timeslot. The course takes 10 minutes and the track was fun to drive around. I recommend bringing a glove because the wheel can be a bit uncomfortable holding after a while. Overall, it is such an amazing experience. It will make you want to go for another round or bring your family and friends for next time. I do appreciate them printing your scores for keepsake! We will def come back :)

“Driven past this place on the motorway soo many times. So decided try it for a birthday outing and it was SOOOO MUCH FUN zooming round the track The Team is really nice. The guy in the counter today was super chatty which was nice First time there but will be back.”
