1 / 3Hanley Park Playground
đ Kawarau Falls, Otago
Hanley Park Playground at 45 Jack Hanley Drive, Kawarau Falls is a relatively new free destination playground with extensive equipment, plenty of open space, and views to the Remarkables. Bike and scooter slopes alongside the play structures.
The kids loved this park! Everything is nice and new, lots of fun equipment and tons of space. And the the views are gorgeous! My only request is that some of the equipment looked like it had been broken despite being new, hopefully they get that sorted.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families wanting a destination playground rather than a quick stop â large enough that it spreads kids out comfortably even when busy. The mountain views and the bike-and-scooter slopes are bonus features.
