We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect celebrant than the wonderful Terri Everett. From the very first conversation, Terri made everything feel calm, effortless, and incredibly special - even with such short notice. She organised our beach elopement at Split Apple Rock Bay, and what she created for us was nothing short of magical. The ceremony was deeply emotional, beautifully personal, and felt completely us. Standing there by the ocean, sharing those moments, we were constantly aware of how lucky we were to have Terri guiding us through it all with such grace and warmth. Terri has a rare gift for making you feel relaxed, understood, and truly celebrated. Her words were heartfelt, her presence was grounding, and her attention to detail meant we could be fully present and soak up every second of the experience. If you’re looking for a celebrant who genuinely cares, who can create something meaningful and beautiful, and who will go above and beyond - Terri Everett is an absolute gem. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her, and we will treasure that day forever.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

This is perfect for families with toddlers and young children who love animals and want a peaceful, hands-on experience. The remote hilltop location offers stunning views but requires a drive up a very high hill. Best for families seeking quality time with friendly farm animals rather than typical zoo entertainment.

β€œWe stayed for a couple of nights in a campervan. There is room for 2 or 3 campers, but we had the place to ourselves. It is a beautiful location, at the top of a (very) high hill, with beautiful views, space to walk around the farm, and oodles of peace and quiet. The owners, Terri and Jim, and their assistant Natalie, were great hosts. Terri and Natalie met us on arrival, and took time to introduce us to their animals (goats, pigs, ponies, horses, turkeys and a ram, all had names!). Terri and Natalie took time out from caring for the animals to join us for a cup of tea, and we shared lots of stories. If peace and quiet are what you are after, it doesn’t come much better than this.”

β€œI stayed at the Hidden Valley Farm for about 2 weeks, even though it felt like a few months. The location is so beautiful, with a nice view to the sea. The animals are absolutely lovely and I already miss them. Terri, the host, is an amazing person who really cares about the people! I absolutely recommend to book a stay and experience this special place❀️”

β€œWe visited the sanctuary and did a little pony ride for our eldest there. Our kids (both young toddlers) had such an epic time here cuddling with all the friendly animals. Terri, Jim and Natalie were so kind, welcoming and gentle with our children. We really can't recommend this place enough!”
