1 / 2Hobsonville Point Playground
đ Hobsonville, Auckland
Hobsonville Point Playground is a free outdoor playground in Hobsonville, Auckland, featuring a large variety of play areas and distinctive architectural installations. Pram accessible and near waterfront cafes.
Really great playground, and I can see that a lot of thought has been put into it to make it interesting for kids. One of the more interesting additions are the two coconut shaped things suspended in the air by poles, which you can climb up into and go between them. Lot's of memories formed there. There are also heaps of other things in the playground which are great. I would also recommend going on a little biking trip around the area, and you can stop at the playground as a little breather, or end destination. đ
đ Family Action Verdict
Reviewers comment on the impressive variety of activities and the architectural pieces as genuinely interesting additions for curious kids. The proximity to the waterfront, cafes, and open parkland means there is plenty to do beyond the playground itself.

âA great playground with a large variety of areas to play. It is close to cafes, park and a field so there is always an area for kids to enjoy. It recently had been updated by the addition of shade sails. There are plenty of car parks around, making it easy to access.â

âA really good play ground with loads of activities. There are some nice architectural pieces scattered through out. Good place to enjoy the sunshine or an open bloods birthday party under a tree. Parking is tough on weekends.â
