Jellicoe Public Park

“Very nice and large park in the busy Onehunga area. The flora are well maintained and the walkways are nicely curated. The location is easily accessible and ample parking is available on the streets. Public toilets are available and are nicely maintained. A large sized fountain is also installed in here. A decent sized children's play area is there, which attracts a lot of kids. Proximity to the Onehunga pools is an added advantage. Well recommended.”

“A slice of history of the houses of the past that used to be in the area. This park has been created to educate everyone what we had and how we have got to where we are. There is parking along side the park. A beautiful fountain, lots of grass. Swings and a pool close by. This has everything you need.”

“I have been here multiple times as this is one for the closest park to our place. I love how they maintain the park and the flowers that grow here. Spring brought it in some lovely colourful flowers here and found white and red ones during summer. The christmas hosted at the park was lovely. This was my first time witnessing the christmas at Jellicoe park, loved the vibe. There is a kids play area too. Good to walk, dog Friendly park just concerned that the poop isn't necessarily picked up by the owners which is an issue if you want to experience the grass bare foot ;)”

“Chilled and lay on the grass after a couple of hours at the pools. Beautifully maintained on a gorgeous day. Spolit by 2 cars deciding to drive into park on the grass. Stop being lazy and park legally like everyone else.”
