“Fun thing to do with the kids. Hubby went with the kids on the train to the beach, I drove ahead and set up a picnic for the family. Great spaces and plenty of picnic tables to use, shaded or in the sun.”

“The most amazing time ever. I walked from the Paraparaumu metlink station to this place via a walking trail which is beautiful in itself. This was with my 5 year old. The long walk was well worth it to the miniature train park which also doubles as a nice children's park and beach area as well. The miniature trains are better than the one at Palmerston though the Palmerston layout is bigger. There are 5 different locomotive types and one being a functional little steam engine. Just amazing. Joy unlimited at this place. More so if you are train buff, which I am and my son.”
