1 / 3Moera Playground
📍 Moera, Wellington
Free outdoor playground in Moera with recent additions for younger children including a toddler slide and swings. Two swings total — one toddler, one standard. Sits beside a busy road.
Does anyone know if after hours car camping allowed? 2 days!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for local Moera families with children aged 2–10 wanting a free, convenient play stop near the library or community hall. The recent toddler additions make it genuinely usable for younger children. Families making a special trip from elsewhere will find the equipment range and swing availability modest for the effort.

“Great playground, since I was there last time they’ve added a smaller one for younger children which is pretty cool”

“There is only two swings there - one for small children and one for bigger children. This playground is well used with it being close to the library and community hall and really needs more than two swings.”
