“What a great cinema! I went as a birthday treat and loved the gorgeous interior, cushy seats, order from your seat options, lovely decor, easy to navigate booking systems. There is a moveable head rest and foot rest! I loved my time and am planning a trip back with hubby! Great sound, atmosphere and overall it was a nice little adventure for me!!”

“Seems like a great place. Tried to use the self service area, after putting in all the effort to get the tickets and organised food the system crashed and we ended up at the counter to do it all again. Theatre was clean staff were friendly and some what attentive. Overall a good experience.”

“We saw Avatar (Fire and Ash in 3D) on Dec 30 2025 at 2pm. We stayed only enough to watch the film and make as quick an exit as we could. It was crowded, mainly due to the impracticle till layout and clear lack of staff organisation and process flow. It isn't structured for a quick/calm welcoming experience. The tills are too close to each other and positioned on the counter that if a group of 3 or more presents it would make it feel very cramped and chaotic. This causes a line to build up, cutting off the exit for customers leaving the cinemas to the right and blocking the entrance to the toilets. When we finally got to the till to order a large diet coke and popcorn I was told they did'nt have enough cups to serve postmix drinks. The only other non alcoholic option I had available to me was a warm plastic bottle of water. It took quite a long time for staff to work their way through the line of customers and collecting orders from the pick up point (also) quite close to the 2 tills, caused further discomfort and chaos. My partner pre-ordered a burger, fries and drink combo when we collected the tickets using the touch screens on site, and when it was delivered during the movie they didn't bring the drink, forcing us to go get it and was given no reason or apology for them forgetting it. All-in-all a less than satisfactory experience. Unless these issues are fixed I would recommend you avoid visiting this site and recommend you make the drive to other sites instead (i.e. Sumner site which is, compared to this site 1 million times better). I like the concept of this business just not the Wigram site is run. For what we paid to see the film the experience didn't make it worth a future visit. If you do decide to choose Wigram Silky Otter I would suggest you take your own snacks and drinks.”
