A massive shout out and thank you to the volunteers that take the time out of their weekends to run the train. You can see the joy they bring to everyone who goes , young and old. It’s very wholesome. If I had the money I would join the society to support them but hoping the train ticket money goes some way to supporting the society operate. Great day out for young kids. A word of caution to not sit in the open carriage with white clothes as you will get spot on them

“Always a great experience. The volunteers are knowledgeable and very kind. Lots of different engines to see so worth multiple visits! Credit card and eftpos available, some drinks, icecreams, and a few chippies/chocolate bars for sale, but recommend you take a picnic if you want anything more substantial. Don't wear your favourite white top 😂”
