“Te Manawa Museum is a really cool place to check out in Palmerston North. There’s a mix of history, art, and interactive exhibits, so it doesn’t feel boring or old-school. It’s great for kids, teens, and adults, and you can actually learn stuff while still having fun. The layout is easy to walk through and the exhibitions change, so there’s usually something new to see. Definitely worth a visit, especially since it’s a local gem.”

“What an incredible free attraction in our great wee city - awesome for those with toddlers and young kids to get busy and have endless fun on a rainy day. This and a few other council initiatives (the amazing parks for one) have me seriously considering making the move back to good ol palmy!”

“Pretty good for free admission, although they would appreciate your support with donations. The Rugby Museum is in the same building upstairs, but is $15 for entry. They have some interesting exhibitions and good for all ages, but under 14 should be supervised”
