“I was welcomed and attended to by staff at the reception. Troydan was brilliant and very understanding. He answered my questions with much respect and patience, even for questions that he didnt know answers to. Other trainers who were at the counter are also super friendly. I have a 3-day trial and today was my first day at the HIIT programme. Megan, the trainer, was very warm and welcoming. She was also very aware of my limits and circumstances in doing the workouts. Looking forward to my second session tomorrow. Well done guys!!!”

“Seriously I expected BETTER I went to the YMCA July 2025 school holiday programs TODAY I expected better. Why is it like this?! I will tell u guys what happened. so when I arrived I expected the building to be way newer not crusty dusty:( it was hard to navigate through the building if ur new, and there wasn’t even a single SIGN OUT THERE SAYING YMCA HOLIDAY PROGRAM! LIKE HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW There was super rude YMCA staff, ignoring me when I called out for them, I had to call them for at least 2 or 3 times and they will turn to me saying “what?” And today i accidentally messed up to where I’m going, so I stayed in with the treasure hunt group, we were supposed to make a map when I suddenly realized it was circus time. So me and my brother left, but when we came back our maps were outta sight. Gone. So again I asked the staff and they said it was on the table then my brother asked where is our map and they said check the floor so he did and he did not find it and asked them again they said check again! LIKE EXCUSE ME WERE NOT BLIND but anyways, he checked again and there wasn’t even a sign of the maps we hardworkingly created so I asked, the ymca staff, they said some kids might have took it or ppl may have putted it in the bin. I was shocked. They would throw my artwork away, like it was not even worth a penny. There was no respect to us and they told me to LOOK IN THE RUBBISH BIN! LIKE WHAT IS WRONG WITH TODAY THEY WOULD LET ME DIG THROUGH THE BIN FR:(! But I really wanted my art back, so I digged through the rubbish bin and all eyes were on me! Eventually I found me and my brothers art in the bottom of the bin and why we didn’t get it back is bc THERE WAS BIN JUICE ON IT! TERRIBLE 0 STAR SERVICE BUT THATS NOT IT YET, HEAR ME OUT. So the day we booked this holiday program the website said special : circus! So we thought it was a trip outside but unfortunately it was still in the old stadium, and on the website it said watch pro circus performers perform! But I swear they spent like 3 minuets performing to us, and we only stayed there for about 1.5 hours with them…. WHAT EVEN IS THIS OVERPRICED SO CALLED “TRIP” ITS SO FAR THE WORST SCAM, TRIP AND OVERPRICED BORING DAY! At the last few hours we were playing in the gym in the stadium and I saw a ad about the ymca school holiday programs add and it said: Friendly staff Supervised Fun And keep your kids active with the ymca school holiday program! Like what the heck I’d rather go to school and do a maths test than pay 70 dollars to sit in an old stadium for about 7 hours… not to mention I’m not a school girly. Anyways, at the end there were snacks, and it was my turn to get my snack. So the staff said how much apples to me and I said zero apples I don’t want it but then she said zero is not an option. I HAVE MY OWN RIGHTS! So I told her I ate apples today I just want popcorn please and she said the apples u had today are not the same as this and before I could say anything, she grabbed a soggy apple and doinked it on my piece of paper. I asked for popcorn too, but unfortunately the apple was too soggy so I had to deal with soggy popcorn too… Can ymca even respect children?! This is the worst experience ever, and parents and children or ymca staff reading this, to parents I consider u read the reviews from a kid like me about ymca before enrolling. I really don’t want ur kid to suffer! And for kids, respect ur self. U don’t have to come to such a bad holiday program just to make ur parents happy (like me) and for ymca staff that was here on Monday July 7th, please be nicer next time. And I’m expecting a full apology:( this review is official and written by a 11year old girl who went to ymca I’m sharing my thoughts and feelings with u guys because I don’t want any kids to suffer to death from boredom and I really want the ymca staff to change. Be more nicer, and not to mention ur ads are a fake too. Friendly staff? Rethink that. Also to ppl reading this, you are 100 percent intitled to ur own thoughts.
