I was welcomed and attended to by staff at the reception. Troydan was brilliant and very understanding. He answered my questions with much respect and patience, even for questions that he didnt know answers to. Other trainers who were at the counter are also super friendly. I have a 3-day trial and today was my first day at the HIIT programme. Megan, the trainer, was very warm and welcoming. She was also very aware of my limits and circumstances in doing the workouts. Looking forward to my second session tomorrow. Well done guys!!!

“I have absolutely LOVED this gym. Everyone is friendly, the gear is great, it’s rarely crowded, and having the basketball court has been a great bonus.”

“Great staff and facilities! I used the gym back in high school. When to the holiday programmes as a kid.. joined with the library. Bus stop just out front. Recently built a caged soccer astro turf next to the road”

The Y Massey is West Auckland's community fitness hub operated by YMCA North. The gym is fully equipped, with over 30 Les Mills group fitness classes, a basketball court with academy and social leagues, pickleball courts, and a caged astro turf soccer pitch. Personal training, Gold Fit senior fitness, and the Jumpstart programme are also available. School holiday activities run each term, venue hire and birthday parties are offered, and free on-site parking is included.
