“We had a great experience at Velocity Karts in Christchurch with Ian and his team. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, and the wind didn't pick up enough for us to enjoy the BloKarts to the fullest. But Ian got the Drift Karts going for us, and we had a great time. The Drift Karts are super fun, and at times challenging, and we were all glad we got the opportunity to test them out on the track. Afterwards, Ian was kind enough to drive us all back into the city, which was much appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience at Velocity Karts, and this is definetely something you have to try out when in Christchurch.”

“We had the best birthday party here on the human foosball court, my son had a whole lot of his friends competing in round robin competitions. They all loved it so much! Was a beautiful day with lots of room and tables for the kids to eat at. Ian, Ruby and the team were amazing and so friendly and accommodating. We will be trying one of the other fun options here next time. 100 percent Recommend this for a fun filled afternoon.”

Overview
Velocity Karts runs blokart land sailing for ages 8 and above, harnessing Canterbury's coastal winds to power three-wheeled sailing karts. Speed is controlled by pulling and releasing a hand rope - no brakes, full wind. Tandem karts accommodate younger children. Electric drift karts run on a smooth concrete track for ages 12 and above. Human foosball is available for groups. All activities include a safety briefing and instruction from trained staff.
