1 / 3Victoria Park
đ Auckland CBD, Auckland
Victoria Park sits in central Auckland with a full-size skate park, basketball court, cricket and rugby grounds, and a children's playground. The park hosts outdoor concerts and community events on its open lawns.
Nice view of Sky Tower from here. Big park and sports ground with rugby and cricket. The park has picnic tables and benches, a public toilet, a big skate park, a full basketball court, and a kids' playground. A playground for younger children and a skate park and basketball court are located at opposite ends of the park. The park is famous for hosting popular events and festivals. The big pathway around the park. Good for walking, running, and biking. Very fun place. You can see here and there the homeless people sleeping in the park. Awesome park.
đ Family Action Verdict
Kids' cricket matches fill the grounds on weekends, with families spreading out across the shaded perimeter. The split layout â playground at one end, skate park and basketball court at the other â gives different age groups their own space. Visitors from out of town note it as a natural break during a CBD walk.

âAttended Maoli concert Jan 10 2026 at Victoria Park. First time to a concert held here. Good location. Wide open space, entry into the grounds easily accessible. Our accomodation was within walking distance.â

âWhile walking around the CBD, the best spot to have rest under the big tree with chill vibe. It couldn't be better to feel little nature in the city central.â

âThis is a lovely park with lots of shade under big trees around the edge. We were there on the weekend and there were lots of families out and about some watching the five or six kids cricket matches being played.â
