“Came here for an impromptu break and because we wanted to ask about horse riding. Instead we ended up doing pistol shooting with Danny who was an absolute legend! We had a great time with a "bragging rights" sharpshooter competition amongst us, and we really enjoyed our time. It was great to see excellent level of firearm safety from Danny along with a proper induction, step by step coaching, and the laughs he provided 😁 Highly recommended!”

“We came in shortly before closing because we saw the road sign and we are really glad we did. From the first second on we felt so welcome and it was worth every dollar. We decided to go for the clay disk shooting and this was an awesome experience. It was a really spontaneous decision but everyone from the staff was really friendly and it was so awesome all over. Plus you have awesome scenery”

“Me and my siblings walked in yesterday with no booking and immediately got booked, we did the guided buggy tour and the clay shooting 10/10 experience our tour guide made us feel comfortable and loved to crack a few jokes! Our first experience was in 2025 just doing the clay shooting but I definitely recommend adding the buggy to your plan too!! Will definitely be back every chance we get!”

Overview
Six-seater buggies follow 100-year-old forestry trails on Mount Ngongotahā with views across Lake Rotorua and Mokoia Island. Licensed instructors lead the clay shooting range - the 40-shot package gives newcomers 20 warm-up rounds before challenge targets. Airsoft and archery suit children aged 9 and up. All helmets and safety gear are supplied, wet-weather jackets are available, and Rotorua city pickup can be arranged. Children from age 4 can join buggy tours.
