We are a family of 3. Our 9 year old daughter did the airsoft shooting and archery, it was great fun. The staff were so cool, they gave her a few extra free rounds on the archery which was so nice. My husband and I did the 40 rounds each of the clay bird shooting and it was so fun! We actually came back a second day in a row as we had that much fun! On both days we had this awesome staff member with us, cannot remember his name. He was a lovely Māori guy and he really looked after us, explained everything to us and had a laugh with us. Highly recommend. Good fun!!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Instructors draw consistent five-star praise by name — guests describe them as funny, generous with free extra archery rounds, and skilled at making first-timers confident. Families report coming back a second consecutive day. The lake backdrop makes it a standout Rotorua experience beyond the standard tourist circuit.

Excellent day out clay target shooting, for two of our group for the first time. Excellent equipment from the throwers to the shotguns, backed up great staff. The location is very scenic which makes for a great backdrop. The 40 shot package is certainly good to have, first 20 for a warm up then some challenges on the next 20. Will definitely visit again!

We had a great time. First time ever been clay shooting. Peter and Jason were great hosts and had a sense of humour.
