“aMAZEme is a great few hours out for the family. The maze is good fun and we did it twice, challenging the kids to get to the centre fastest the second time. Make sure you bring a hat, water, sunscreen if hot as not much shade in the maze. There are lots of other activities at aMAZEme around the grounds. Snakes and Ladders, Connect Four, walking on stilts, sack races, and more. The staff were friendly engaging and area was safe, family had fun. Kids always ask to go here on the way to or from Rotorua.”

Overview
aMAZEme is a hedge maze and games garden on Paradise Valley Road, ten minutes from Rotorua. The maze is 1.4 kilometres of tall hedges with a centre to find, and the usual pattern is one careful lap followed by a race. Around it the lawns hold giant snakes and ladders, connect four, tug of war, stilts and sack races, a themed garden and a walk-in rabbit enclosure small children love. There are picnic tables and it is pram-friendly. Open Thursday to Monday, and daily in school holidays.
