Awesome! I really enjoyed looking around here, i found the old maps particularly interesting. Even though i was born and raised in Birkenhead, i learned lots of new things about the area during my visit. Dorinda was very welcoming and happy to show me around. They have a neat collection of old stereos and clocks. I recommend coming in - it is only open sometimes so check for open times before you come. There is a playground and free skate park next door, so you can ditch the kids while you look around the museum :)
đ Family Action Verdict
One visitor noted learning plenty of new things about Birkenhead having been born and raised there â the volunteers are welcoming and happy to show you around. The adjacent playground and free skate park mean families with mixed interests can all find something to enjoy.
