Chipmunks Tauranga is an indoor playground for ages 0–11 with multi-level climbing structures, slides and a toddler area. Includes an on-site cafe, private party rooms and three birthday packages with a visit from Charlie the Chipmunk.
Chipmunks TGA is a truly a cut about the rest, alot of negative reviews really are coming accross as a "you problem", kids will be kids, regardless of location there will always be a bad apple or 2. Compared to other chipmunks locations (that might i add are priced the same) TGA is cleaner, newer, smaller (allowing for less numbers) and alot kinder both staff and public attendees. The staff are incredibly accommodating and understanding and i have not once experienced a bad encounter when brining any issues to staff attention. I really think in this day in age you get out what you put in, go in friendly and open and you will get that back. Come in expecting the royal welcome and youll be in for a reality check. This is an indoor kids venue not the Hilton. Some of the reviewers need to check their privilege and pay grade before leaving negative comments. If you expect such a high standard then id expect your wages to be able to cover a much higher market venue to match your expectations. The staff are not paid enoigh to deal with such meager grievances. Remember that next time you plan your visit. Or check out jago town to pay double the price of chipmunks for quadruple the kids and pitiful resources compared 🤷🏼♀️

“I took my Grandson 5 Yrs Old to Chipmunks on Sunday afternoon at Chapel St Tauranga. He had a great time playing with all the other children there. We had food and drinks at the Chipmunks Shop which was very Good, including Pizza. The staff were very polite and helpful and their observation of the Wellbeing of the Children in there was noticeable. After 3 hour's of fun my Grandson was so happy to have had the opportunity to play there. Totally Recommended for children and families 👏 Note Kids need to have socks on, can buy them at the Chipmunks Shop which are Cool. 👍”

“Was invited there for a birthday party this Saturday. Was very busy and yet the facility was clean and well run. I order a coffee and got it quickly and it was a great coffee too. Thee kids food in the party room was really nice. My kid lt me have some hot chips and they were actually really nice. Well done to all the staff working there. Great experience.”
