I was once again deeply touched by the kindness of people in Christchurch today. I dropped my phone somewhere in the mountains — below the cable car line, where hardly anyone goes. When I finally found a staff member, she reached into her pocket and pulled out my phone! Someone had found it on the trail and handed it to her. I’m so grateful to that kind stranger and to the lovely, friendly staff. This park has given me so many beautiful memories! 💛

“We went for the chair lift experience which was a really fun activity. There were also tons of folks doing the mountain bike trials. At the top of the mountain, the wind was really strong but the scenary was worth the cold. Come try at least once, will probably give a shot at the mountain hike or bike the next round am here.”
