I went to the fabulous Senic Sauna at Cog Park. Beautiful scenery and a very serene experience, definitively repeating soon! There's a spot to have a dip between your sessions, or just cool of in the air. You can have a view back towards the Colonial houses dotted wellingtin hills, or out to the beach, boat's & Pohatakawa trees. The best setup I have seen so far, great eye to detail, handles to get down, and really grippy stairs for the safety conscious. A very passionate charismatic man was holding fort, sharing the love for saunas. Different refreshing essential oils dousing the stones each 15 min session. Endorphins were rushing after! I highly recommend! Thank you 😊 Miichael

β€œGreat spot for a walk while pondering terrifying existential crises. Nah but in all seriousness, this spot is pretty serene and you can chill out here for ages in nice weather. There are even a few boats bobbing around at sea most of the time which is cool. You can even go for a swim just around the corner at Hataitai beach if you're that way inclined. On top of all of this you get a neat view of the Wellington sign off in the distance.”
