The replica bone and skeleton displays are incredibly well done and help bring these prehistoric giants to life. The real highlight for me was the life-sized animated dinosaur figures. Seeing them move and hearing the sounds they make creates a surprisingly immersive experience and gives visitors a real sense of what these creatures might have been like millions of years ago. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or simply have an interest in natural history, this museum is well worth a visit. “We stumbled across this little gem while out for a walk and are so glad we did! The owners, who moved down from Auckland to share their incredible dinosaur collection, were super friendly and welcoming. The place is spotless, well laid out, and packed with fascinating exhibits and information about all kinds of dinosaurs 🦖🦕. There was so much to see and learn, and it kept all of us engaged. It ended up being the talking point of our family for the rest of our time in Ratahi. Highly recommend a visit!”
