1 / 2Foster Park Adventure Playground
đ Rolleston, Canterbury
Foster Park Adventure Playground is a large free space with big slides, a hamster wheel, rope towers, spinning equipment, and separate toddler sections. Ample picnic tables, bench seating, and parking directly adjacent.
Amazing playground our kids love it. There is an awesome range of equipment from stuff for wee ones through to more adventurous pieces. Would be a good spot to host a kids birthday party, heaps of open spaces around and loads of parking. As with most parks in Selwyn it could do with a few trees planted in.
đ Family Action Verdict
A playground where kids aged 2 to 12 all find their level without overlap â toddlers have their own separate corner, big kids go straight for the slides and rope towers, and parents have enough seating and picnic space to settle in for a long session. The new skate bowl addition extends appeal for older children.

âAwesome park. Love the big slides. There's a hamster wheel, rope towers, many picnic tables & seats and a couple of the spinning contraptions kids love. There's also a couple mini playgrounds for toddler sized humans. Would be better if the flying fox was back up but still overall a great park.â

âHuge playground for the little ones and big kids. It's huge and with lot of equipments. It will keep the kids busy for hours and hours. Parking is available next to the park and if you are lucky a food truck will also be present next to the park to have some snacks if needed.â

âWhat a playground! Christchurch really knows how to build playgrounds. Great space for small children as well as the older ones. Parking right next door. It could do with a toilet though, not sure if there is one close by but that is all that lets it downâ
