1 / 2Rolleston Skate Park
📍 Rolleston, Canterbury
Outdoor skate park with bowl and street sections, on-site toilets, BBQ facilities, large parking, WiFi, and USB charging. Concrete quality has waves and bumps throughout — most suited to intermediate and above.
Great park to take the kids old and small. Every time I've gone with my 6 - 10 yr Olds the older one have always been mindful. One older kid was teaching my son to do a trick. Toilets on site, food and drinks at the shops close by - 4 minute walk.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for intermediate skaters aged 8 and up who can adapt to imperfect surfaces. The bowl and street section offer enough variety to keep sessions interesting. Complete beginners will find progression difficult — every obstacle has surface irregularities.

“The bowl gets way too much hate, yes it’s a little wavy in parts but it still skates well and has Heaps of things to try, clean bbqs, toilets and plenty of shops nearby. Downsides are, wind, street section is pretty average and far away from the main park and there is also lack of ridable paths towards the burger fuel shop area. Lots of fun to be had here!”

“Excellent skatepark for all ages. Will be even better when the rest is complete. There is a smaller kids playground nearby and sensory area. Toilets onsite and large parking spaces all near it, also wifi and usb charging available .”
