Our family moved to New Zealand last year and Khandallah Playgroup has been a wonderful place to meet other families with young children. Our daughter loves both the indoor and outdoor spaces (the ride-on toys and swings in particular). There are lots of fun and enriching toys and the changing themed activities are always a hit! For caregivers, it is a cozy space to relax in knowing the kids can play freely in a safe envirionment. We are so happy to have this special place close by!

“My son is obsessed with the ride on diggers at playgroup and my daughter loves the crafts. We are new to the area and I have enjoyed connecting with other local mothers, everyone is really lovely and welcoming. I also love that the kids can play in the sand or mess with paint and it doesn't mess up my home. Would highly recommend Khandallah Playgroup, it is a lovely space and also available for birthday parties.”

“Khandallah Playgroup has a fantastic range of indoor toys and outdoor equipment. We love how the sandpit has a shade cover. Great place to take the kids during any weather! My girls have really enjoyed there time at playgroup and we love how we can go any day of the week! Khandallah Playgroup is an awesome opportunity for families to meet others and make friendships. Highly recommend!”

“Khandallah playgroup is fantastic. I love spending the morning here with my youngest so he can meet other children and play with all the wonderful toys, whilst I can enjoy a coffee and chat with other mums. I love that it is a relaxed setting with no pressure to arrive at a certain time or to plan certain activities. The outside playground and sandpit is also a highlight for us.”

Overview
Khandallah Playgroup is a community-run play space at 11 Ganges Road for under-5s and their caregivers. Sessions are Monday to Wednesday mornings and Thursday to Friday afternoons during term. Indoor facilities include a soft-play castle, ride-on cars, dress-ups, puzzles, art and crafts, a dedicated baby area, and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom (with baby change).
