This is a very cool cinema if you can locate a parking slot allowing for 90 minutes. It's my place to watch an exotic but excellent movie. Seats are comfortable, staff are nice, toilets are clean, nice coffee, even can read the Herald while waiting. The film selection is not the mainstream blockbuster type, but almost always about human spirits. My favorite chillout place, you can hardly go wrong with their selection, perhaps more so for the mature audience. The nearby shops are nice too.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

An older, intimate Epsom cinema with a lounge area, world-cinema programming and a Tuesday all-day discount β€” better suited to school-age kids and teens after non-blockbuster fare than under-fives. Royal Opera and Ballet broadcasts add a special-occasion option.

β€œWhat a perfect place for a mid-week movie date with your sister! I have it on good authority that the ice creams are delicious. The staff are helpful, the theater perfectly sized, and the extravagant surroundings take you back to the time before the bland multiplex. Loved it!”
