1 / 3Lloyd Elsmore Park Playground
đ Pakuranga Heights, Auckland
Fenced play area with climbing structures and wood chip impact surfaces, designed for under-10s. Free entry with adjacent car park. Gate damage, broken water fountain, and litter have been flagged in recent visits.
Very safe fenced public playground, especially for children under 10 years old due to the height of the equipments! The impact absorbing surface with wood chips is well maintained. The space between the equipments is very appropriated, the little swings with colorful flowers are not to be missed as the inclusive swing that is in very good condition. There are metal harp, colourful tables, monkey bars and the surrounding area with trees and an artificial lake makes this playground a quite plaesant area.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and under-10s who need a fenced, contained space for a short play stop. The enclosure is the main asset. Families planning a longer visit or carrying high expectations for upkeep should head to the park's badminton-court-side playground instead â multiple reviewers rate it significantly higher.

âWe have always loved coming here with our kids because it's a fully fenced in playground with lots of variety, but we went today and the gate has been broken off and the kids kept trying to escape into the carpark. Not so fun. Hope they fix it soon!â

âOk playground by the swimming pool, not very big or variety on offer. It's fully fenced though and has a carpark right next to it. I find the playground on the other side of Lloyd Elsmore Park by the badminton courts better.â

âVery dirty and have found dangerous rubbish there (and binned it to keep the tamariki safe). The water fountain there has been broken for 2 years! Not worth a visit as it is an outdated playground sorely needing improvements. No shade or shelter available.â

Overview
Lloyd Elsmore Park Playground sits beside the swimming pool complex with direct car park access. The fully fenced layout uses wood chip impact-absorbing surfaces and includes colourful toddler swings and climbing equipment sized for under-10s. Reviewers flag a broken entry gate, a water fountain out of action for over two years, no shade structures, and litter including dangerous debris.
