Great for active kids from toddlers and up. The free carpark usually has spots available, awesome well maintained playground with loads of options. The beach is right there, park benches and tables, nice park for picnics, and if theres no wind you can be on the beach any time of year. The walkway along the beach is great for scooters/bikes (just watch out for some uneven patches where the roots have pulled up the concrete). If you forget lunch theres lots to eat - i take my 2.5yr old to burger fuel for chicken tenders ☺️

“This playground has evolved in the last decade. The facilities are brand new. However I do prefer the older version without the sandpit tunnel.”

Overview
The playground sits directly on the Mission Bay waterfront with a long stretch of beach on one side and restaurant-lined streets on the other. Equipment includes sun-shaded climbing structures and sandpit tunnels for toddlers through to primary-school age. Two toilets on site. Free carpark usually has availability. The seawall walkway runs alongside for strollers and bikes. Outdoor setting, pram access throughout.
