Think this is also called Okahu Bay Playground. Great place for all day outings or picnics. Nice heritage structures and unique play sets. Good - few shade really comes in handy in hot sunny days. Big awnings on the waka inspired flying fox and slides. Small baby area good for smaller kids. Comes with toilet and picnic tables. Free parking around the reserve. Soft mat fall protection! Very close to okahu bay beach. Bad - the variety of toys isn’t great. Not many shops to get food from. Overall a great place to take kids big or small and very quiet too.

“Pretty m cool playground for the kids, plenty of parking on the road, plenty of grass area and an ok basketball half court and a beach across the road that I forgot to take a picture of. Whether you just want to take the kids out for a play of have an outdoor activity day for your friends and family this will definitely be the place for it.”

“Plenty of shady trees here to sit under while the children play, the playground is clean and spacious. You can use the bbq if you feel like cooking, and the beach is conveniently located just across the road for a swim.”
