1 / 3Moana Pool
đ Dunedin, Otago South
Dunedin aquatic centre with hydro slides, a lazy river with float boards, a wave pool, 1m and 3m dive boards, and a jacuzzi. Attentive lifeguards and an affordable gym-and-pool membership make it a long-stay destination.
came here for a casual workout. What a cool gym! decisively cheaper than privately owned gyms. large and clean with a great window front overlooking the town. no lockers, though. small towels provided for training, not for showering. you can use the pool facilities with the gym pass as well.
đ Family Action Verdict
The dive boards at both heights give school-age kids a genuine challenge; the lazy river and float boards keep younger ones busy without requiring swimming ability. Alert lifeguards throughout the session give parents confidence. The jacuzzi is an appreciated add-on for adults once the kids are occupied. Lane swimming is best visited during the day when lanes are less congested in the evenings.

âA good family activity and the waterside is a good way to exhaust your kids. Was a bit disappointed that none of the lockers were working. Kids got to have a go on the 1m and 3 meter dive boards. Has a wave pool and a small lazy river for the kids to float around on with the float board's.â

âGreat pool for the kids with excellent slides and a jacuzzi to boot. Great of an evening, but can sometimes get crowded in the lanes. If you want to exercise, I'd suggest going during the day. Gym membership is a good option, especially during discount season.â
