Ōtaki Pool sits inside Haruātai Park and runs both indoor and outdoor swimming areas alongside a dedicated toddler pool. School holiday SPLASH! sessions add inflatables and games to the mix. Birthday party bookings available poolside and in the BBQ area.
Me and two of my children loved this pool. It is in a gorgeous setting in the park with both outside and inside options for water fun and it is a fabulous place to take children particularly primary age. My son (8) loved the fact he had his head above the water everywhere and the basketball hoop and inflatables. I liked the lane swimming and also that I could brick train with the Exercycle in the pool. I hope with the remodel that the changing rooms are given a spruce as they are the one part I think could do with a freshen up.

“Pleasant experience for the kids, unfortunately there isn't a deep side to the pool for adults to enjoy. I also wish to have had extra time to use the spa and sauna. Friendly people and clean facilities.”
