I had an adopt-a-pony experience at the Te Horo Equestrian Centre and it was amazing! From pony rides, treks, feeding, grooming, scenic views of cattle, grass as far as you can see and the amazing horses which were more than I could count on two hands! The people who run this operation are so friendly and it helped me improve not only my riding skills but all the aspects about owning a horse. I have loved this and I recommend this to any age who wants to improve their riding or just get a taster of the horse world!

βAwesome school holiday riding experience yesterday for Clodagh (6) and Elliott (5). Idyllic setting, the girls loved the riding and spending time feeding and brushing the ponies. Many thanks Mandy, you have provided excellent horse riding for all our grand-kids over the past 12 years.β

βOur daughter had a really great three days on the own-a-pony programme. Mandy is a lovely host, a great communicator, very flexible and a pleasure to deal with. Itβs a rustic, no-frills farmyard but our daughter was well looked after and she loved it.β
