π Tauranga, Bay of Plenty
This spacious Tauranga playground sits within a park setting with a standout rocket ship themed slide structure, equipment for all ages, generous tree shade for picnics, and free car parking right alongside.
Excellent playground - itβs got a bit of everything and there is plenty here for kids of all ages. There is plenty of free car parking right next to the playground, itβs inside of a park so no need to worry about traffic, next to the water with some great views and breezes, and there is such a big variety of equipment for kids to play on. Our favourite wast the rocket slides, lots of fun. There is also a small train here but it wasnβt running when we visited. Great place to take the kids for a day out, playing, and having a picnic!
π Family Action Verdict
The rocket ship structure draws the eye and keeps older kids busy; the open layout and shade trees make it comfortable for families to settle in for a longer visit rather than a quick stop.

βFantastic playground suitable for both older and younger children, huge rocket ship themed slides. Plenty of trees so picnic under and grass to run around on. No dogs allowed within 10 meters of playground. Highly recommend.β
