Best suited for families with children who have a strong interest in trains and railway heritage. Overview
Part of MOTAT's Motions Road site, the Rail Workshop is where heritage railway equipment and boilers are actively restored and maintained. Located alongside the Aviation Hall, families can watch restoration work in progress and see the rail collection in operation on Live Days every third Sunday.
