⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fun-Filled Day Out Worth Every Dollar – Splash Planet, Hastings Splash Planet offers excellent value for money and is absolutely worth the $35 entry fee. With a wide range of attractions and activities, there is more than enough to keep everyone entertained for the entire day. From pools to rides, there’s something for all ages, making it a great destination for families, groups, and celebrations. The staff were friendly, approachable, and helpful throughout our visit, which really added to the positive experience. The pools were enjoyable and well maintained. While the main toilets were very busy and not as well presented due to the number of visitors, there were other toilet facilities on-site that were super clean, which we appreciated. Food prices were reasonable and not overpriced, and there were plenty of picnic tables available, making it easy to relax or bring your own food. The overall atmosphere was fun, lively, and well organised despite how busy it was. Splash Planet is an excellent place to celebrate special occasions. We held our Christmas party here and absolutely loved it. Highly recommended for a fun, memorable day out in Hastings. 🎄💦
🏆 Family Action Verdict
A family who brought their own lunch and only bought hot chips on site still rated the day as 100% recommended. Staff described as friendly and the park well-organised on busy days. The train gives young children a look at everything before committing to the walk. Thrill rides with 130 cm height requirements are balanced by the toddler pool, bumper boats, and playground for younger children.

“This is a cool place to go if you love water slides or train ride around the park. There are 5 outdoor water slides right next to each other. 1 indoor slide with warm water that You can't see unless your going for a spa. There are no extra costs unless your buying from the gift shop or tuck shock which has. There's a playground area with a flying fox and little toddlers area. Lots of picnic tables with canopies right next to the pool area or where the playground is. Mini Golf course available at an extra cost. There's bumper boats and a pirate ship in the kids pool. Go carts if weather is good. Located right in Hastings in the beautiful suburbs of Karamu and Parkvale. It is pricey, option to purchase spectator ticket. Great for the whole whole family.”

“Plenty parking, pre booked tickets online. Lines looked long but got through pretty fast. Plenty of spaces to sit. Just need to look around. Few shaded spots, but wud recommend taking your own shelter. We were lucky to get a table and umbrella area. We all had fun. Recommend going on train, easy way to see everything slash plant has. Didn't take to many photos as we were all swimming”
