Spookers Haunted Attraction Theme Park

“Our family spent 7 days in NZ and our trip was specifically planned around Spookers as our family love a good scare. We had been to a scare house at LA, Universal Studios several years back which was fun so discovering NZ had a house of horrors was a perfect inclusion of things we wanted to do. On arrival the vibe was perfect due to the old buildings so we were already a little edgy before we had even stepped in. The parking attendant was great in keeping us informed of the technical stuff but also light hearted and fun. On lining up, the group behind us mentioned that they had a person with epilepsy although no recent incidents and the Security guy was extremely professional and encouraging in making them comfortable however advised that its best all strobe/lighting to be suited to this person's needs to ensure the best experience for them and not risking any triggers. It was really wonderful to hear how accommodating he was yet also providing information on why it would have to be a certain way. He was lovely when he spoke with my family and checked ages and had a quick chit chat. Now the actual actors, scare people, characters were absolutely amazing!!! They all did a fantastic job and fully embraced their character and played out every part to get the best creepy, scary awesome guest experience. The people at the start of the 3 tours were able to keep the visitors entertained whilst waiting and were quick on their toes in answering questions or talking with the crowd. The scary people within the houses and woods did such an awesome job with the costumes, makeup and their scary/creepy behaviour. So much fun and the whole team at Spookers were excellent, would encourage everyone to go for the best night ever. Given that USA know their Halloween and go all out I could still say that Spookers was better than Universal Studios. 10 out of 10 experience”

“Every happy with the experience I came here on Halloween this year and I was surprised with what I saw, the actors were very good, chainsaw lady did a great job with scarring everyone at the entrance especially me, my sister and dad and around the park 👍 the actors in the park was very scary in the haunted house, the woods and the in zombie one. “Great experience! The woods & Haunted house were great! Def got the heart pumping. Disturbia was very underwhelming felt like a dodgy carnival ride with minimal to no jump scares. Actors overall where phenomenal! Id highly reccomend. It would be great if they had a line separate for pre purchased tickets. Took ages to get in. But once in it ran pretty smoothly.”

“It was my second time to come back to Spookers The tickets include three haunted houses The first two indoor ones are less scary And the last one at the field was the most memorable As they are upgrading their facilities, so they do not have lockers Please put your stuff at your car It was a fun time”
