“Had taken my daughters on this about 6years ago. Took my 7yr old nephew recently. They all absolutely loved it!!! Very well priced! 👌 The Staff (all Volunteers) were looking exhausted at the end of the 1500 passengers (over 5 return trips to Porirua & back in 2 day) but they were all still very kind, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable & wearing their uniform with pride! 🫡 Getting a Souvineer of the trip was pleasantly priced 🤩, which meant we all got a piece memorabilia 😊 Snacks were at a good price for what was there & trip duration. I probably cant comment on steam train toilets at the tail end of 1500 people using them (which may have put afew out of order) For a 1 day event & crew being rished off their feet, I highly recommend 100%! My gurls & nephews fave part was watching the Steam Incorporated Team waving goodnight to them while the train expressed off steam & went to the shed to rest. Well Done Team Steam Incorporated 🥰”

Credit to the volunteers and Staff who run this as it would be an incredible shame to loose this timeless technology and equipment.
