We’ve been taking our son to Tepid Baths for swimming lessons since he was one. I can’t recommend the teachers here enough! Akata is a superstar with babies and toddlers, and now my boy is with Finn for the preschool class β€” he’s amazing as well. One of the highlights here is that the pools are very well maintained; my son has never had any eye or ear infections after swimming here, which used to be my biggest concern. They also have a lane for kids to play in after their sessions.

Families rate the Learn to Swim instructors highly β€” reviewers single out teachers by name and describe coming back week after week since their children were babies. Visitors note the facility is clean and the pools are consistently warm.

β€œHere on holiday and was looking for a good pool as I’m a daily swimmer. The facility was beautiful, clean and had a great energy to it. The staff were amazing. I had left my phone in the car and my watch wasn’t allowing me to pay and the young gentleman working at the time was trusting enough to just let me through for a swim and come back in after to pay. It’s rare to find trusting people in this day and age and this young man really made my day by allowing me through.”

β€œMy first time here and I LOVE the tepid baths! We came to Auckland for our first family Xmas (2025) in 18 years. I bought a week by week pass and it is SO reasonably priced! Clean and tidy facilities and the water is so refreshing! And great staff! Very friendly and helpful. Thank you all!”
