The Lakes Waterpark
π Pyes Pa, Bay of Plenty
Compact waterpark with interactive water activities, swings and play areas. Great for families with young children, especially on hot days, though facilities are limited.
Bit tricky to find but the park is awesome! Hands on water activities for young ones, swings and plenty of space to run around. There are big picnic table sized seats you can sit on and rubbish bins nearby. Half a dozen car parks out the front. Worth checking out
π Family Action Verdict
Perfect for families with young children (especially 5 and under) looking for interactive water play on hot summer days. The compact size makes it manageable for parents to supervise, but plan for a shorter visit due to limited facilities and bring everything you need including toileting solutions.

βSUPER AWESOME waterpark! Could do with some shade, and other generic playground equipment and a public toilet β¦ hopefully in good time! Super fab for summer!β

βSmall but effective at keeping kids entertained. 2 water spouts that form 2 small streams, and end at a small water hole with turning corkscrew. If youβve been to Hamiltonβs childrens playground and waterpark by the lake, this is much much smaller. But still fun.β

βGood interactive water play for kids. Some of water from top spouts werenβt working but 5 yo was still loving it. Parking in the street and some picnic tables and grass area to sit for a snack too.β
