“We visited Thrillzone Takapuna for our son's 12th birthday with 5 of his best mates and I can't recommend this place enough! Sonja and Seb were just incredible hosts. They handled all the details, were unbelievably patient and friendly with the boys (like wrangling cats most of the time but this didn't faze them), and made sure everyone had an absolute blast. My son even commented afterwards on how kind they were! The VR Escape Room was a first for all the boys, but everything was explained so well, and Seb was right there to help with any questions they had. The fun didn't stop there—the photos that come as part of the package are a highlight! The boys loved all the props and setting up their own green screen scenes. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it for a super fun and memorable experience - especially for tween/teen boys who need activities that challenge them and keep them engaged.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing escape room experience today — especially thanks to our host, Austin. From start to finish he was engaging, welcoming, and made the whole experience fun, immersive, and memorable. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in what he does. Unfortunately, at the very end of our experience we overheard a manager speaking to Austin in a way that felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. It was uncomfortable to witness, especially given how well Austin had just done his job. Staff who go above and beyond deserve respect, particularly in front of customers. Austin is a huge asset to this business and deserves recognition for the excellent experience he provides. I truly hope management reflects on how staff are treated, because great employees like him are the reason customers leave happy. Would 100% recommend the escape room — and especially Austin as a host.”
