My parents used to bring me to this park back in the 80's. Now I have the opportunity to bring my own kids. This park has been very well maintained, has Toilet facilities and a broad range of activities to keep the kids engaged for hours. One improvement that can be made is to add sun shades over some areas as it can get rather hot in summer but other than that a great playground!

âI live near Allenby park and often go there with my autistic and ADHD child. My kid sometimes runs away from me. The problem is that the doors of the playground are never closed and there are cars passing by so there is a possiblitiy that any child could be run over by a car. Please fix the doors. Before only one door was not working but now all the doors of the playground are not working. My request is to please fix this problem and make if safe every child I dont know how to inform Auckland Council regarding this situation.â
