1 / 3Waimairi Beach Playground
π Waimairi Beach, Canterbury
Spacious beachside playground featuring a flying fox, climbing structures, and direct beach access. Perfect for active kids who love natural outdoor settings.
Awesome playground! Besides your regular swings and slides there is a big area for climbing and bridges. Also it has a huge fox swing. Perfectly located behind the dunes. Toilet is very close and direct access to beach path. So if your kids have seen enough of the playground you can go to the beach and vice versa. We spend an hour easily here.
π Family Action Verdict
Perfect for families wanting to combine playground time with beach activities. The unique flying fox and climbing structures suit active kids, while the beachside location offers flexibility when children tire of play equipment. Best for families who appreciate natural settings over elaborate play facilities.
