“We love the place! Lots of animals for the kids to play with and explore. It had a big field that you can just walking around the farm and enjoy the weather. Pram friendly and it has some of good spots to picnic with the kids. Prepare your food and drink with you and just come here and enjoy. We had a great time here with family and it have sheeps, chickens, cows, horses and bees. It has the cooking space for someone will love to cook here as well. And the main thing is its free! ps. Ice cream is soooo good!”

“A small and peaceful countryside vibe in Auckland. When I visited, I found it interesting to watch the sheep getting their hooves trimmed. It also seemed like a great place for a walk, and the animals looked well cared for. However, despite the warning signs not to enter the fenced areas, some Chinese visitors went inside to take photos with the animals, which looked very dangerous.”

“I come here just to feel calm again. Somehow being around the animals just settles everything. A highlight is milking time. All the animals here are well cared for and well loved. The farm is a safe place for adults and children alike.”

Overview
Ambury Regional Park brings farm life to the city at no cost. Horses stand at fences, goats wander freely, and sheep graze in open paddocks. Milking time draws a crowd around the dairy animals. The on-site play area gives younger children somewhere between animal encounters, and picnic spots are spread across the grounds. Birthday parties can be arranged through Auckland Council parks.
