1 / 3Embassy 3 Cinema
đ Whanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui
A clean, friendly Whanganui cinema with a good movie selection and disability access to most theatres. Staff go out of their way to help, though tickets and snacks aren't cheap, so aim for the discounted days.
Love the place, love the selection of movies. Tuesdays are $10 and great prices for seniors. Love you have disability access to all cinemas except the top one. French film festival is on at the moment and the films have been pretty good. I love the selection you provide of snacks etc. When have cinema snacks not been expensive? Anyhow, lovely staff and so helpful.
đ Family Action Verdict
This is a solid, well-run local cinema where the staff genuinely go out of their way to help, and the place is clean and comfortable. Just go in knowing tickets and snacks aren't cheap, so if you're watching the budget, aim for the discounted days. Good option if you want a pleasant, easy outing without fuss.

âGreat place to enjoy movies. Staff are helpful and friendly. The cinema has a disability toilet and separate men and women toilets. The cinema also has a place to buy food. We enjoy going to the movies here.â

âThoroughly enjoyed the experience. The volume of the film was just right and quality of colour was good. The staff were very helpful. Nice clean toilets. Over all, a nice atmosphere.â

âTidy and clean environment, lovely staff. Seats were better than they used to be, but could still be better. Expensive for the tickets and the snacks were even more so. Great range of snacks tho and they now even offer alcoholic drinks for you to enjoy with your movie. Not a cheap experience but a pleasant one for sure đâ

Overview
A tidy, comfortable local cinema where the staff actually notice you and help out, and the toilets are genuinely clean (a small thing that matters with kids in tow). The movie selection is good, right down to the occasional film festival, and disability access reaches all but the top cinema. Tickets and snacks run pricey, so if you're watching the budget, the discounted Tuesdays are your friend.
