“Great place for movies especially with the excellent dolby atmos sound and IMAX. Great visuals! Great place to hang out as well. 10/10 recommend But wish there were more indie movie selections though and more movie session times. Great sound from the speakers. Just wished the projector in vmax works more consistently. Comfy seating too and good cinema food Still a great place to hangout too. Decent arcade Would highly recommend. Hopefully there will be more indie movie selections like from a24 or sumerian or blackbear pictures, etc, and times for these movies”

“I've watched movies in almost all 7 screens at Event Cinemas Queensgate, Wellington. The IMAX is the best overall: it's still single laser and 1.90:1 ratio, so not "true IMAX," but the visuals and sound still make it worth it. V-Max is the best value for money: large format, sound quality, everything about it is great. The normal screens are really nice too, and honestly the sound quality across all the screens is excellent. Tuesday half-price for Cinebuzz members is a game changer, you get to experience all of this at half the cost.”

“I genuinely think some of you guys are just unlucky or overreacting, from the 3 times I went, the cinemas were all very very clean, the reasons the cinemas were probably not clean is because they probably didn't have time to clean between the movies, since there are certain times the movies are played and the time between them might be to little to clean the cinemas. It's obvious they do clean them. Their staff is are also soo nice definitely shout out to them!”
