1 / 3Megazone Laser Tag
π Grey Lynn, Auckland
Two-floor laser tag and gelly ball arena in Grey Lynn, decked out with immersive props, lights and beats. Spacious party area with on-site food, drinks, and board games.
Cannot recommend this experience more! Thereβs something special about getting a bunch of adults together to relive your childhood memories. Itβs a silly and fun way to kill an hour and while it took 1 round to get the hang of things the whole gang enjoyed the games even while failing epically. If you book online you can pretty much ensure itβll just be your crew - tag maxes out at 20 people. Ps they have a semi decent selection of adult beverages too.
π Family Action Verdict
Kids keep going back for more β one parent noted her son's birthday group "had to keep going back" and praised the spacious two-floor layout and the party area. Reviewer Anne Trinidad highlighted the 'great service' from host Sade, calling it highly recommended for kids' parties. Booking online effectively secures the venue for your group.

βMy son celebrated his birthday there last 22nd June and everyone had a blast! The kids enjoyed every minute of their laser tag games and had to keep going back. π Great location, spacious party area, wide space (they have 2-floors to hide and play laser tag) and great service from the team. Special shoutout to Sade. Thanks for the amazing assistance on hosting the party. I highly recommend this as your next kids party location.β

βReally fun! We had a group of 14 of us there. The hosts were fine: efficient and nice enough, but often distracted and I wasn't wowed by them. Nothing to complain about either though. The setting itself is pretty cool - dark, lots of lights, lots of places and walls to dart in and out of and shoot through. Only the blue and red teams were working when we went (usually a green team is also operational). We found the blue base quite difficult to find at first. There are two floors. Red base is on the bottom, blue and green on the top. They say you're not allowed to run but in practice people got over-excited and it wasn't really enforced. Overall it was really great and safe fun, can definitely recommend. They have options for private hire or individual tickets; we got individual tickets 'cause it was still significantly cheaper, and we still had the place to ourselves on a Sunday morningβ

Overview
Megazone features a two-floor arena with immersive props, lights, lasers and music. The red base is on the ground floor; blue and green bases are upstairs, with plenty of walls and structures to dart between. Gelly ball sessions run two rounds of five minutes each with auto-scoring blasters. Private hire is available for up to 20 people, and party packages include the arena plus food, drinks, and use of the board game area. The on-site bar stocks adult beverages alongside a food menu.
